A fitting quote to describe the collection, given that it began as a ‘mistake’ many moons ago. Amidst a stark room in a small monastery, nestled in a remote village in Japan, a long-exposure setting on my camera mistakenly created an unexpected image of the bare light bulb hanging in my room. The rest, as they say, is history.
Each image in the collection is a single exposure of an unmoving, 100-watt light bulb. For me, the are portraits of Intention, Time, Space, Movement, Choice, Energy, Light, and Flow.

FINE-ART PAPER PRINTS : Handmade prints created using high-quality, archival paper.

FRAMING : RECESSED / FLUSHBOX / FLOATING : Each piece of art is made-to-order by hand in San Francisco by my production team. For this finishing option, the art is individually printed, pressed, trimmed, and framed using a beautiful FSC walnut wood sourced from western Pennsylvania a few hours west from where I grew up. Printed on the back of the image is the title, date, edition number, and signature.
