What makes an object sacred?
This collection is a visual celebration of specific feathers collected over the past decade, each found while walking in nature and brought back into the sanctuary of my home to serve as an icon of the sacred.
I believe objects are made sacred by the intention imbued into them. By what they serve to embody and activate within us as we see and interact with them. As such, I bring feathers into my home and world because they serve as iconic reminders to me of ascension, light(ness), and freedom.
Each feather’s uniqueness is enhanced by time. While feathers typically don’t last long in the elements, inside they’re able to take on their own unique patinas.
